If you post an offer link on a forum it will probably get deleted UNLESS your link is very relevant for the subject. For instance, if someone is saying they are trying to lose weight, you might be able to suggest a product to them on the forum and the admin of that forum may allow your message.


For promoting offers directly it is almost always best to purchase traffic such as Facebook traffic, or on a PPV site like LeadImpact.com or 50onRed.com
